Description
Vulcathene Unslotted Wastes are designed for use in chemical waste drainage systems where a sink outlet does not require an overflow connection. They provide a robust and chemically resistant outlet solution for laboratory, healthcare and industrial environments.
These wastes feature BSP threaded connections and are available with flange diameters of 60mm, 73mm and 85mm, making them suitable for ceramic, porcelain, metal or plastic sink outlets. Each unslotted waste is supplied with a single waste gasket and incorporates an integral grating with a removable plug, ready to accept a chain fastening.
Manufactured from co-polymer polypropylene with a carbon black ultraviolet stabiliser, Vulcathene offers exceptional resistance to chemical attack, abrasion and impact. The material is well suited to handling aggressive acids, alkalis and a range of organic solvents commonly found in laboratory waste applications.
The smooth internal bore promotes efficient drainage and reduces the risk of build-up, while the lightweight construction makes handling and installation easier without compromising durability. With high tensile strength and stability across its operating temperature range, Vulcathene unslotted wastes deliver reliable long-term performance in demanding environments.
