Founded in 1954 in West Drayton, London, Durapipe and Fittings Ltd quickly became a pioneering force in the thermoplastic industry, gaining recognition for delivering innovative piping solutions.

In 1974, the company revolutionised compressed air systems with the launch of Air-Line Xtra, providing a durable plastic alternative to traditional steel pipes. The 1990s saw the introduction of specialised product ranges including PLX, Friaphon, and Vulcathene, expanding applications well beyond cold water transport to meet the needs of diverse industrial sectors.

Entering the new millennium, Durapipe continued to push innovation with the release of advanced solutions such as HTA, VKD, and the SuperFlo metric and inch ranges. These developments reinforced Durapipe’s position as a global leader in high-performance plastic pipework and flow control products.
