Description
Vulcathene Slotted Wastes are designed for chemical waste drainage applications where a sink outlet must accept an overflow connection. They provide a durable and chemically resistant solution for laboratory, healthcare and industrial environments where safety and reliability are critical.
These wastes feature BSP threaded connections and are available with flange diameters of 60mm, 73mm and 85mm, making them suitable for ceramic, porcelain, metal or plastic sink outlets. Each slotted waste is supplied with two waste gaskets to ensure a secure seal at both the sink and overflow interface. An integral grating is included, along with a removable plug ready to accept a chain fastening.
Manufactured from black co-polymer polypropylene, Vulcathene offers excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals, abrasion and impact. The material performs reliably across the full operating temperature range and is well suited to handling concentrated acids, alkalis and other corrosive liquids commonly found in laboratory waste systems.
The smooth internal bore supports efficient drainage while reducing the likelihood of residue build-up. Lightweight yet robust, Vulcathene slotted wastes are easy to handle during installation while providing long-term durability in demanding service conditions.
